Simo-chan! My apologies for not writing back sooner, but we had been away to an
anime convention . It
was a lot of fun, and I even wrote up a report on it. If you're curious, you can
see it right
here.
So thank you for writing me. It does seem like you have had a rough time lately
', but I hope that things are getting better. I'm glad you find your ID,
that's kind of important . As far
as exams go, no I am very glad I don't have to deal with that at all :P. I've
out of school for a few years now. I finished my studies in 2003 actually :P. So
does that make me old? Ha ha...
And about your computer... What operating system are you running? If it's Win
XP, then I think things will be a little easier to fix. I can tell you a couple
of solutions that might prove helpful in your situation. So, assuming that's the
OS you have, here's the first thing I recommend is to do...
Open your Start menu, and the navigate to
Programs/Accessories/System Tools/ and open System Restore. Since you're in a
different language probably I know the names will be different also, but I hope
you can figure it out. When you run System Restore, just create a new restore
point. This will backup much of your data, just in case you loose something
later.
After that, you will want to open your Internet Browser and go to http://housecall.trendmicro.com/
...but don't worry, this is a very reputable site. The company is called Trend
Micro, and they have an even better reputation than Norton Antivirus or McAffee.
I have used them for many years. So if you trust me, click on Scan Now. This
process will take a long time probably (2 - 8 hours depending on the speed of
your computer and internet connection). But it is very thorough and does a good
job. I will then outline some of its functions for you, and when you're ready
you can click on the button to proceed.
During it's scanning process, probably at the beginning, it will ask you to
install a few files. This is so that it can access your system to scan an remove
the viruses. I know that sounds a little suspicious, but I assure you it is not.
Whatever security boxes come up, I recommend that you approve/allow whatever it
wants to do. It will scan for a long time, and at the end it will ask you if you
want to remove the threats it finds. Obviously you do. But if you go through all
of this, I'm am confident that you should not have anymore virus problems. Any
problems with your system after that would be caused by something other than a
virus (like a hardware problem).
If for any reason something goes wrong, do not
worry. That's why you created the restore point at the beginning. With this, if
anything should change for the worse, you can restore your system to it's
original state before you began this process. So as you can see, there are
failsafes here to protect your system from deteriorating even further. I hope
that his will help, assuming you are still having problems.
Well, other than that there's a little bit of other news. I don't know if you
heard, but I already sold the painting Infidelity. I was sad to see her go,
because I really liked the piece. But after that the gallery asked me for
another painting which I had to paint on short notice. I did get it done though,
and it's even up on MT already. You can see that piece here. I don't think it's
quite as good as the first, but I still like it . I
hope you do to :P.
Well, that's probably enough for now. Good luck with your exams, I'm sure you'll
do great! And let me know now your computer is doing. I hope that it gets better
too ^_^.

Yes indeed, the gallery I am in right now is called ERA, and I have already
started on another collaborative/group project with them. I'll be posting about
it on my blog when I have anything to show for it . I
didn't really mind selling the piece that much, I just wasn't expecting it to
happen so quickly. Caught me by surprise .
And thank you for the link to the video, it was a very well done AMV. I thought
it was the real thing for a moment! I have had this AMV idea in my head for a
little while, and I might try making it one of these days... we'll see .

I'm sorry to say that when I
painted this piece (and others) I was filled with sadness, and so this is what
came out. I am often times emotionally connected to my work. This is also
evident in my painting called Uyoku.
Here again, however, you can see that I have been exploring the impact that the
anime-style eye has. I will likely be creating more paintings of this type to
further deconstruct the shapes within anime eyes. But thank you again for all of
your great comments and all of the faves, as well the fav on my Elf painting.
For a long time, people didn't look at my paintings on MT very much at all. I am
happy to see that changing. Though I wonder how much of that is due to my
spamming , ha ha...

I did not think that people would really feel all of the things that I felt when
painting this. And I did not think that you have all seen the Kenshin OVAs. I
shouldn't be surprised though, because it is one of the absolute best anime I
have ever seen.

Hy! Saw the painting, very beautiful, u captured the emotions and chose the
character very well, the story behind it is very emotional, I saw the Rouruni
Kenshin Ova with Mira at her place and we started crying at the end, we loved

I know MT can very very temperamental sometimes, and it's
very frustrating '. I'm
sorry you've had troubles.
It is a little funny that you chose unicorns, so I'm sorry :P. Though it's not
what my choice may have been, I think that you can still make it interesting.
There is certainly a lot of information on them in history. If you put this in
its historical context, then I think you can present this myth in a very
interesting way.
When I was seven years old, we moved to this small village in Germany. About
three houses down the street from us was a little fenced-in pasture and one
horse that lived in it. Sometimes, when I was coming home from school, I would
go over to it and feed it some grass. It was pretty friendly. Yet I have to
admit that I probably have not developed the affinity for horses that you have,
and that's okay ^_^. I still like them quite well for the most part.
You know I have really considered making a large "hamster wheel" for
my cat. But of course it would have to be on a motor, otherwise she'd just lay
down in it. It would have to be turning on its own, and that would force her to
walk in it. Ten or fifteen minutes a day in that, and I think she'd get some
decent exercise and loose weight . Ha
ha, is that too cruel...? I don't think so :P.

character, though we changed it slightly. Now, after so many years and after
being spayed, she's gotten lazy and fat . Wish I
could somehow get her to exercise :P. I haven't had a chance to speak with my
sister yet, but I double checked the information online, and I was more or less
correct. Here is what I found...
Dominant white (more properly "epistatic
white" since it occurs on a different gene to the black-based or red-based
colours) denoted by the gene symbol "W", is the colour associated with
deafness in cats. Dominant white masks all other colours and cats may have blue,
orange or odd eyes. Those with blue eyes have a high chance of deafness. Those
with one blue eye have a high chance of deafness on the blue-eyed side. Those
with orange eyes are far less likely to be deaf. Some dominant white kittens are
born with smudges of coloured fur on top of the head where the colour is
incompletely masked, this smudge of colour usually disappears by adulthood, but
kittens with colour smudges are more likely to have normal hearing. These cats
are not albinos; genetically they can be any colour, but the white is dominant
to those other colours (albinism is an absence of other
colours).

Now I think I understand... Though I believe Mira-chan has said that you are
also friends in real life. She spoke fondly of you, and so I am happy to see
that someone treats her well. She deserves it. And that is why I wanted to
express my gratitude.
So what are those pets that you're going off to feed, hmmm? I have a cat. She's
chubby, hairy, and annoying, ha ha! But I still like her. At least when she's
not being noisy, begging for food, or shedding all over me .

My pets? ok... 2 cats, brother and sister and one dog but because I live in a
house(backyard) Everyday is a reunion of cats from the neighbors, 2 aren't
enough, let's count 6 and don't forget my dog that btw goes crazy when he sees
the other cats, so u can imagine my everyday life with them.
Don't forget the fact , that the 3 of them are craving for my attention and
there's a real competition and jealousy going on there .

Ha ha, that does sound like a lot of animals . I
believe that blue-eyed cats are not actually blind, but deaf. I'm pretty sure
that is correct, but I'll have to ask my sister again who works for a
veterinarian.
My cat is about six years old, and she is a gray "mackerel" tabby and
has gotten pretty fat after being spayed a few years ago (spayed means she had
an operation not to have anymore kittens). Her name is Leilu, and she's pretty
cute most of the time. Not so cute when she's getting into trouble though. Well,
maybe even then she's cute ^_^...

that's kind of important 
. As far
as exams go, no I am very glad I don't have to deal with that at all :P. I've
out of school for a few years now. I finished my studies in 2003 actually :P. So
does that make me old? Ha ha...
And about your computer... What operating system are you running? If it's Win XP, then I think things will be a little easier to fix. I can tell you a couple of solutions that might prove helpful in your situation. So, assuming that's the OS you have, here's the first thing I recommend is to do...
Open your Start menu, and the navigate to Programs/Accessories/System Tools/ and open System Restore. Since you're in a different language probably I know the names will be different also, but I hope you can figure it out. When you run System Restore, just create a new restore point. This will backup much of your data, just in case you loose something later.
After that, you will want to open your Internet Browser and go to http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ ...but don't worry, this is a very reputable site. The company is called Trend Micro, and they have an even better reputation than Norton Antivirus or McAffee. I have used them for many years. So if you trust me, click on Scan Now. This process will take a long time probably (2 - 8 hours depending on the speed of your computer and internet connection). But it is very thorough and does a good job. I will then outline some of its functions for you, and when you're ready you can click on the button to proceed.
During it's scanning process, probably at the beginning, it will ask you to install a few files. This is so that it can access your system to scan an remove the viruses. I know that sounds a little suspicious, but I assure you it is not. Whatever security boxes come up, I recommend that you approve/allow whatever it wants to do. It will scan for a long time, and at the end it will ask you if you want to remove the threats it finds. Obviously you do. But if you go through all of this, I'm am confident that you should not have anymore virus problems. Any problems with your system after that would be caused by something other than a virus (like a hardware problem).
If for any reason something goes wrong, do not worry. That's why you created the restore point at the beginning. With this, if anything should change for the worse, you can restore your system to it's original state before you began this process. So as you can see, there are failsafes here to protect your system from deteriorating even further. I hope that his will help, assuming you are still having problems.
Well, other than that there's a little bit of other news. I don't know if you heard, but I already sold the painting Infidelity. I was sad to see her go, because I really liked the piece. But after that the gallery asked me for another painting which I had to paint on short notice. I did get it done though, and it's even up on MT already. You can see that piece here. I don't think it's quite as good as the first, but I still like it

I am happy that I was able to create so many pieces that you find enjoyable
. I do
think that eyes in anime have the biggest impact, and I am indeed fascinated by
them.
I'm sorry to say that when I painted this piece (and others) I was filled with sadness, and so this is what came out. I am often times emotionally connected to my work. This is also evident in my painting called Uyoku.
Here again, however, you can see that I have been exploring the impact that the anime-style eye has. I will likely be creating more paintings of this type to further deconstruct the shapes within anime eyes. But thank you again for all of your great comments and all of the faves, as well the fav on my Elf painting. For a long time, people didn't look at my paintings on MT very much at all. I am happy to see that changing. Though I wonder how much of that is due to my spamming

Arigato gozaimasu Simo-chan ...T_T. I am so happy to read all of the wonderful things that everyone has, and you, has written.
I did not think that people would really feel all of the things that I felt when painting this. And I did not think that you have all seen the Kenshin OVAs. I shouldn't be surprised though, because it is one of the absolute best anime I have ever seen.

sorry you've had troubles.
It is a little funny that you chose unicorns, so I'm sorry :P. Though it's not what my choice may have been, I think that you can still make it interesting. There is certainly a lot of information on them in history. If you put this in its historical context, then I think you can present this myth in a very interesting way.
When I was seven years old, we moved to this small village in Germany. About three houses down the street from us was a little fenced-in pasture and one horse that lived in it. Sometimes, when I was coming home from school, I would go over to it and feed it some grass. It was pretty friendly. Yet I have to admit that I probably have not developed the affinity for horses that you have, and that's okay ^_^. I still like them quite well for the most part.
You know I have really considered making a large "hamster wheel" for my cat. But of course it would have to be on a motor, otherwise she'd just lay down in it. It would have to be turning on its own, and that would force her to walk in it. Ten or fifteen minutes a day in that, and I think she'd get some decent exercise and loose weight

sister yet, but I double checked the information online, and I was more or less
correct. Here is what I found...
Dominant white (more properly "epistatic white" since it occurs on a different gene to the black-based or red-based colours) denoted by the gene symbol "W", is the colour associated with deafness in cats. Dominant white masks all other colours and cats may have blue, orange or odd eyes. Those with blue eyes have a high chance of deafness. Those with one blue eye have a high chance of deafness on the blue-eyed side. Those with orange eyes are far less likely to be deaf. Some dominant white kittens are born with smudges of coloured fur on top of the head where the colour is incompletely masked, this smudge of colour usually disappears by adulthood, but kittens with colour smudges are more likely to have normal hearing. These cats are not albinos; genetically they can be any colour, but the white is dominant to those other colours (albinism is an absence of other colours).

believe that blue-eyed cats are not actually blind, but deaf. I'm pretty sure
that is correct, but I'll have to ask my sister again who works for a
veterinarian.
My cat is about six years old, and she is a gray "mackerel" tabby and has gotten pretty fat after being spayed a few years ago (spayed means she had an operation not to have anymore kittens). Her name is Leilu, and she's pretty cute most of the time. Not so cute when she's getting into trouble though. Well, maybe even then she's cute ^_^...
